⛩ Zetsu Black is one half of the Zetsu duo, the other being Zetsu White. He is an artificial human working for the Akatsuki, Zetsu Black was created after Madara Uchiha infused his will into the half of the original Zetsu White.
Zetsu has the ability to blend into the landscape by "merging" with it and can travel this way. He can emerge from anywhere, whether from the ground or an element, like a tree. This power allows him to serve as a spy for the Akatsuki. This Jutsu is surely Earth Assimilation. Indeed, it follows the same principle as Orochimaru's doton (earth element) jutsu.
He is also cannibalistic, not hesitating to devour the corpses of Sasori's subordinates, and can thus be used as a "cleaner" to erase the organization's traces. There is likely a connection between this feature and the "carnivorous plant" surrounding his head, this green extension in which he can completely hide when he closes it around itself (like teeth).
