⛩ Thorfinn Thorsson, also nicknamed Karlsefni, is a former warrior in Askeladd's band as well as a former slave on Ketil's farm, who is currently a trader and adventurer attempting to settle in Vinland.
He was born in Iceland as the son of Helga and Thors, the most famous Jomsviking warrior until his defection. He is also Ylva's brother and is linked to the Jomsvikings leadership through his mother, who is the daughter of the third leader, Sigvaldi.
He spent an entire decade seeking revenge on Askeladd, the man who killed his father, even following him into battle to stay close to him, and became cold and ruthless, killing countless people. After attacking Canute in a moment of shock and rage for killing Askeladd, whose death had been Thorfinn's goal for most of his life, Thorfinn was enslaved as punishment. Four years later, he regained his freedom and turned his life around.
He has vowed to make good use of his life and create peace and a land free of slavery, but he will find that his goal is far from simple...
