    ⛩ Ken Kaneki is the protagonist of the animes Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re.
    Once a mere human, he studied Japanese Literature as a 1st year student at Kamii University, thus living a relatively normal life.

    However, things change quickly after Dr. Akihiro Kano transplants the RC Cells of Lize Kamishiro into him, turning him into an Artificial Ghoul.

    He later joined the Antique, a cafe known to the Ghouls as a meeting place, as a part-time waiter. Thanks to the members of the Antique, Ken tries to learn how to live like the Ghouls do and eventually adopts the nickname Eye Patch.
