The story of Violet Evergarden: The story revolves around a young girl who plies her trade as an "automatic memory doll": dolls originally created by Professor Orland to help his blind wife Mollie write her novels, and later rented out to others who needed their services. The term refers to people who act as public writers, whose aim is to transcribe people's words and feelings. After four years of bitter war, this young girl with a heavy past is struggling to rebuild her future, starting with this profession. However, among all the wounds inflicted on her during the war, there's one that just won't seem to close. The words of a loved one still echo in her heart, without her knowing the real reason. She wants to know, to understand their meaning. And so begins Violet Evergarden's quest, an apprenticeship mingled with letters, encounters and varied emotions... ⛩
