⛩ Casca is a former commander of the Falcon Band and a former partner of Guts.
Originally an uneducated peasant girl living in a remote mountain village, she develops into a well-adapted warrior upon joining the Falcon Band and greatly aids in the group's legendary successes during the Hundred Years War.
After Guts' departure and Griffith's subsequent imprisonment, she is forced to assume the position of leader of the group, managing to prevent the complete annihilation of the Falcon's Band and rescue Griffith from the Tower of Rebirth. Crippled by his horrific year-long torture and demoralized by his fall from grace, Griffith finally summons the Eclipse, in which he is reborn as Femto, a God Hand.
After his rebirth he raped Casca in front of Guts in order to break him mentally. Having physically survived the ordeal, she was nevertheless broken mentally, suffering from infantile amnesia and being nearly mute.
Guts and his newly formed travel team are currently preoccupied with restoring her fragmented mind to Elfhelm.
