Against the Raikage, he turned the Raikage's excessive speed against him with Amaterasu: just as the Raikage was about to hit him, Sasuke created a shield of Amaterasu flames, causing the Raikage to lose an arm. He trapped Danzô during his fight, enabling him to confirm his theories on Izanagi's power. He also cleverly used Danzô's tapir suction current with the supreme fireball. This analytical ability was even recognized by Madara as equal to his own.
