⛩ Illumi Zoldik is the eldest member of the Zoldik family. Irumi had taken part in the Hunter Examination under the name of "Gitarakuru" and in a different guise. He uses singularly shaped needles as his weapon. Irumi is also a Hunter and a "friend" of Hisoka. It was he and his father Silva who taught Kirua everything about assassination.
Illumi is unique among Hunter × Hunter characters in that you can never guess what he's thinking at any given moment. This is mainly due to his facial expression: his eyes, which are always wide open, and his expression, which never changes. Indeed, Illumi's facial expression remains unchanged whatever the situation, making it almost impossible to tell what he's thinking.
