⛩ Franky, whose real name is Cutty Flam, is the carpenter of The Straw Hat Crew. Franky is a cyborg recruited to Water Seven and was introduced in the story as the leader of the Franky Family, a group of shipbreakers. He is also the first cyborg introduced in the series.

He was once called Cutty Flam until he discarded his real name and replaced it with his nickname at Icebarg's request to hide his identity. Franky and his cronies were first introduced as antagonists to the Straw Hat crew until circumstances forced them to become allies.

At the request of the Franky Family, Franky will join the Straw Hat Crew to fulfill his dream. He is the eighth member of the Straw Hat Crew and the seventh to join Luffy's crew. He is also the second member to have been a former enemy (the first being Nico Robin).

While his bounty was 44,000,000 before the ellipse, it reaches 94,000,000 after the events during the Dressrosa Arc and 394,000,000 after the events during the Wa Land Arc.
