⛩ Portgas D. Ace (born Gol D. Ace), known as Fire Fist Ace, is the sworn brother of Monkey D. Luffy and Sabo. He is the only son of the late Pirate King Gol D. Roger and his wife Portgas D. Rouge.
He was adopted by Monkey D. Garp at birth under the request of Gol D. Roger and was raised by the Dadan family, just like Luffy. He was the Commander of the Second Division of Whitebeard's Crew and the former Captain of the Spade Pirates, which were incorporated into Whitebeard's first crew. He only had three years of piracy experience.
The Devil Fruit of Portgas D. Ace, called the Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit), is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and become flames at will.
Ace was killed by Admiral Akainu while protecting Luffy during the Marineford Arc.
