Lethal Domain Expansions
As jujutsu sorcery has evolved, Domain Expansions have grown more powerful, and their primary goal has shifted to inflicting lethal damage on an individual rather than forcing submission. In these domains, the caster can deal massive damage as their cursed technique and abilities are significantly amplified. Additionally, since the caster's cursed technique surrounds the entire domain, it guarantees a safe attack against the target.
For example, in episode 17 of season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna unleashed his Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine, obliterating everything within a 140-meter radius, including Mahoraga, the shikigami summoned by Megumi Fushiguro.

The Most Powerful Domain Expansions
The most powerful Domain Expansions require the strongest sorcerers. In other words, the strength of a particular Domain Expansion is somewhat proportional to the amount of cursed energy available to the caster. Sorcerers can counter Domain Expansion attacks by executing domain-expansion counter techniques. For example, a popular cursed technique used to combat the effects of a Domain Expansion is Simple Domain: Pure Shadow Style. This technique creates a small barrier around the caster, preventing them from feeling the effects of a Domain Expansion.
Domain Clashes
The best—and riskiest—way to escape a Domain Expansion is to create a domain clash. A domain clash occurs when a sorcerer initiates a Domain Expansion to counter the domain expansion of their opponent. When two Domain Expansions occur, the more refined and powerful one dominates. An example of a domain clash happens when Satoru Gojo unleashes his Domain Expansion, Unlimited Void, and annihilates Jogo's Domain Expansion, Coffin of the Iron Mountain. Gojo easily defeats Jogo by trapping him in the realm of infinity and confronting him with frontal attacks, ultimately leading to Jogo's decapitation.
