Appearance

Vasco is a very tall and rotund man. In fact, among all the Blackbeard Pirates, his size is second only to Sanjuan Wolf. Having recently been freed from Impel Down, he is first seen wearing the clothing of the prisoners (black and white horizontal stripes). He has a long nose and constantly smiles while drunk, with his tongue hanging out. Strangely, it seems his nose is positioned higher on his face than his eyes. He also has a wide forehead and wears what appears to be a jester's hat on his head. On either side of his neck, he has two sets of three pierced rings. His skin is pink, likely due to the large amount of alcohol he consumes, making him a heavy drinker. His casual attire consists of a striped shirt similar to his prison uniform, and he wears a pearl necklace.
True to his nickname, he is also depicted blowing into a large flask of alcohol during his introduction, displaying his drunken appearance. He even wanted to invade a city simply because they were running low on alcohol. He seems to carry his flask on his back. There is a kanji for "liquor" (酒) inscribed on the lower section of his body.
Personality
Personality
He appears to have a very vicious personality. Indeed, he asked permission from Blackbeard to kill all the people at Marineford, regardless of their strength. As his epithet suggests, he is always drunk and enjoys drinking constantly, to the point where he complains and demands they invade a city solely to get more alcohol. It is unclear how his drunkenness influences his otherwise sober personality. He displays a lecherous inclination towards Boa Hancock, suggesting that they let her live.
Unique Laugh
Like most characters in One Piece, Vasco Shot seems to have a unique style of laughter: "Topu topu topu topu topu."
Aptitudes and Skills
His abilities have not been fully demonstrated yet, but he was powerful enough to be imprisoned on Level 6 of Impel Down when captured by the World Government. This was shown when he used dual pistols against Whitebeard. Another testament to his strength is the fact that when Blackbeard recruited prisoners from Level 6, he chose only the strongest who could survive in combat against the other prisoners on Level 6.
Gabu Gabu no Mi
His Devil Fruit allows him to manipulate alcohol, which he can later set aflame. He intended to use this technique on the Ruche, but Pizarro forbade him.
Weapons
He has been seen using two pistols to shoot at Whitebeard.

Marineford Arc
Vasco Shot reappears later at Marineford, alongside the Blackbeard Pirates and the criminals who were recruited. All take part in the assassination of Whitebeard (except Sanjuan Wolf). Once Whitebeard has fallen, Vasco helps his crewmates cover the body of the deceased with a black cloth, then watches Blackbeard test his new power.
With the rest of the crew, he is attacked by a shockwave unleashed by Sengoku in his Buddha form. Later, when Shanks arrives to end the war, Vasco departs with his crewmates.

Blackbeard’s subordinates are defeated by one of the two Pacifistas present, who cuts through the mountain in one blow and faces Blackbeard himself. Blackbeard uses the power of the Yami Yami no Mi to absorb everything around him, while Hancock petrifies most of the people present, including Shot and Devon. The situation is resolved by the arrival of Silvers Rayleigh, who convinces everyone to cease hostilities, freeing the petrified men and allowing the invaders to flee. However, Blackbeard kidnaps Koby.
A few weeks later, Vasco Shot is back on Hachinosu. There, he sits on a floating bubble at Skull Point and watches as Shiryu and Pizarro observe Koby and the other prisoners escaping from the prison. He suggests burning the city to prevent the escapees, but is reprimanded by Pizarro, who explains that their captain would not be pleased. Shortly after, the island is suddenly infiltrated by the Marines. The Blackbeard Pirates witness a ship from the Marine falling from the sky, where Vice-Admiral Garp launches a devastating attack that destroys the entire city. Later, Shot uses his technique Shugō Roppu against Garp, but Garp defends himself by using two pirates as shields. At the end of the battle, Shot watches as the Marine ship departs, carrying the freed slaves and soldiers. Accompanied by Pizarro, Shiryu, Wolf, and the other pirates of the Beehive, he watches Garp get pierced by a stalactite from Kuzan.
