Towa Amane

Despite her cruelty in-game, Towa also has a softer side, as shown when she was moved by the story of Setsuna, an NPC, which surprised Sunraku and Oikatzo, who teased her about her merciless reputation. She responded with a humorous reaction. She also helped Sunraku and Oikatzo level up quickly by revealing a secret location for "grinding."

However, she tires quickly of things that don’t interest her or people without ambition. She became disillusioned with Ashura-Kai when they deliberately avoided defeating Wezaemon to use him as a “leveling” tool, eventually leaving them.

In real life, Towa is much less carefree and presents herself as sociable and charismatic. She is very aware of her public image as a famous model and skillfully deceives her fans.

Intrigue

Towa is a famous model who has become an idol for many teenage girls, including Rumi Hizutome. Behind her carefully crafted public image, she hides a hardcore player and infamous PK (Player Killer).

She first gained notoriety in the MMO United Rounds under the pseudonym "Pencil Knight." Due to the realism of the game, players turned to mass theft to compensate for low drop rates. Pencil Knight became the most infamous PK, taking control of the game and setting up scenarios to trap players and prevent them from leaving. She became known as the "Communist Demon Lord." One day, however, Sunraku and Katzo Tataki stormed her castle and decimated her guild. Though Pencil Knight couldn’t stand against them, she set bombs that destroyed her castle, herself, and her enemies. Following this, she developed an ambiguous friendship with them, even revealing their public identities.

At one point, Towa migrated to Shangri-La Frontier under the name Arthur Pencilgon. She founded the PK guild Ashura-Kai with her younger brother Orcelot and quickly became famous for defeating higher-level players, earning the nickname "Giant Slayer." However, the guild soon attracted the attention of the developers, who introduced a bounty system to make PK riskier, rendering their methods obsolete. Arthur discovered a hidden area where she met Setsuna, an NPC with a quest to kill Wezaemon, but her guild merely wanted to exploit the quest to gain EXP. Disillusioned, Arthur planned to betray her guild and kill Wezaemon.

After defeating the unique monster, Arthur Pencilgon fought Psyger-0 and was killed by the Master Attacker, leading to the deletion of her character account. She now has to start SLF from the beginning as a penalty for being a PK player with a high red marker.

Abilities

Her skills as a lancer are superior to most players, capable of challenging high-level players and some clan members. With her speed and mastery of the spear, Arthur Pencilgon is a formidable force. But her true talent lies in her gameplay style, using unique tactics and strategies to gain the upper hand.
