10. Did All Might choose the wrong successor?
Mirio Togata already had the skills and physique.
All Might carefully considered his successor for One For All, initially choosing Mirio Togata due to his discipline and strength. However, he ultimately chose Izuku Midoriya, a fanboy with no Quirk, after witnessing his courage. This decision led to severe injuries for Midoriya, who was initially unprepared for the power of One For All. If All Might had followed his initial plan, Midoriya might have avoided these serious medical issues.
9. Why didn’t All Might inform the teachers about Deku’s power?
The other teachers could have helped Deku manage One For All.
After transferring One For All to Deku, All Might kept this secret, including from the U.A. teachers. While it made sense to hide the existence of One For All from the public, it was counterproductive to keep this information from the school’s faculty. If the teachers had known, they could have offered better support and security to Deku, potentially preventing dangerous situations with villains like Shigaraki and All For One.
8. Why does U.A. broadcast the Sports Festival?
The Sports Festival is broadcast on television.
The U.A. Sports Festival is a major event, similar to the Olympics, where students showcase their Quirks. However, broadcasting the festival allows villains to study and exploit the students’ abilities. This decision prioritizes entertainment and potential job opportunities over the safety of the students, exposing young heroes to unnecessary risks before they can fully develop their skills.

7. Why did the adults encourage Deku’s vigilantism?
The Pro-Heroes provide transportation, intelligence, and supplies.
After the War Arc, Deku operates as a vigilante, believing it will protect civilians and his friends from Shigaraki. Surprisingly, Pro-Heroes like All Might, Best Jeanist, Endeavor, and Hawks support Deku’s vigilante actions, providing resources and assistance. This decision puts Deku and those around him in danger, as his solo missions attract significant attention from villains.
6. Was it necessary for Deku to exploit Eri?
Eri didn’t deserve the additional distress of potentially hurting her savior.
During the Shie Hassaikai Raid, Deku asks six-year-old Eri to use her Quirk, Rewind, to heal his injuries, allowing him to fight at 100% power. This decision traumatizes Eri, who fears accidentally killing Deku. Deku’s choice to involve a young, traumatized girl in a high-stakes battle was ethically questionable, potentially worsening her psychological state.

5. Why didn’t any adults help Deku with Black Whip?
Uraraka was the only one to act.
During a training exercise, Deku suddenly manifests Black Whip, causing chaos. While the teachers and students watch in shock, Ochaco Uraraka is the only one to step in and help Deku regain control. The lack of immediate action from the adults could have resulted in severe injuries, showing a failure to adequately support Deku in a crisis.
4. Why did no one help Bakugo during the Slime Villain attack?
None of the Pro-Heroes intervened.
When Bakugo is captured by a Slime Villain, several Pro-Heroes hesitate to intervene, citing unsuitable Quirks or focusing on fire-fighting. Only Midoriya, without a Quirk, tries to save Bakugo. The inaction of the Pros nearly leads to Bakugo's death, highlighting their failure to prioritize immediate action in a life-or-death situation.
3. Why did the Pro-Heroes bring children to the front line?
The students are still first-years.
During the war against the Paranormal Liberation Front, first-year students are brought to the front line despite their limited experience. While some students perform well, the decision to involve such young heroes in intense combat situations is highly questionable. The absence of more experienced students in critical roles increases the risk of serious injury or death.

2. Why did Sir Nighteye take Deku to the Shie Hassaikai Raid?
Nighteye’s vision predicted Deku’s death.
Despite the prediction of Deku’s death, Sir Nighteye allows him to participate in the Shie Hassaikai Raid. Although Nighteye hoped to prove that his visions were not unavoidable, involving a first-year student in such a dangerous mission was reckless. This decision ignored Deku’s safety and the likelihood of the dark prophecy coming true.

1. Why did Hawks kill Twice?
Twice didn’t deserve to die.
Hawks, working undercover within the Paranormal Liberation Front, kills Twice to prevent his movement, the Ultimate Sad Man Parade. Despite Twice’s potential for redemption, Hawks deems him too dangerous to remain alive. This controversial decision continues to spark debate among fans, as Twice’s death removed a character with significant moral complexity and potential for change.
