Rayne Ames is a third-year student at Easton Academy of Magic, holding the prestigious title of Sword Cane among the Divine Visionaries. He is also the prefect of Adler dormitory and the elder brother of Finn Ames.

Appearance of Rayne Ames
Rayne is a charming young man with a unique appearance: his hair is blond on the right side and black on the left. His eyes are light yellow, and three magical marks adorn his face one beneath his right eye and two others descending down the left side.
Rayne wears the classic uniform of Easton Academy of Magic, which consists of a white button-up shirt with long sleeves, a black robe, a red tie, black trousers, and brown shoes.
Personality of Rayne
Rayne typically carries a serious, cold, and somewhat distant attitude. His neutral and indifferent expression often conceals his true emotions. However, beneath this cool exterior, he reveals genuine kindness towards those he values or finds interesting.

Story of Rayne Ames
His Past
Very little is known about Rayne's origins. He was born into the Ames family alongside his younger brother, Finn. Orphans from a young age after the loss of their parents, the two brothers had to survive in harsh conditions, as no family member was willing to take them in. They often changed their place of residence and struggled daily to make ends meet.
When he joined Easton Magic Academy, Rayne quickly distinguished himself as one of the top students. These trials pushed him to aspire to become a Divine Visionary, hoping to create a fairer world where orphans like him and Finn could live in peace.
Easton Enrollment Arc
Rayne is featured in a newspaper article announcing his appointment as Divine Visionary of Easton Magic Academy due to his exceptional achievements. This title grants him noble status and a generous financial reward.
Magia Lupus Arc
When he briefly returns to the academy after a journey, Rayne rescues Dot Barrett and Finn Ames, who are injured and trapped in the underground. With his incredible magic, he defeats Milo Genius, the fourth Fang, demonstrating both his strength and his determination to protect his comrades.
Powers and Abilities of Rayne
Partisan
Rayne wields a unique magic, Partisan, which allows him to create and manipulate swords at will. These swords are extremely fast and destructive.
- Three Percent Partisan: Summons three swords to attack.
- Ten Percent Partisan: Summons ten swords at once.
- Surf Partisan: Creates a floating sword that he uses as a rapid means of transportation.
Ares: The God of War
As a triple-liner, Rayne can summon the god Ares, transforming his wand into a black trident and greatly enhancing his magical powers.
