Kazutora Hanemiya
Kazutora Hanemiya is a founding member of the Tokyo Manji Gang. At one point, after spending two years in a juvenile detention centre for the accidental murder of Shinichiro Sano, he joined Valhalla as number 3 and leader of the anti-Toman force. At the end of Bloody Halloween, Kazutora was sentenced to ten years in a detention centre as retribution for his crimes.

Appearance
Kazutora is of average height and has a slim build. His natural black hair is styled in a messy wolf cut with yellow streaks throughout. He has a beauty mark under the right side of his sandy-coloured eyes and a tiger tattoo extending from his neck to his shoulder and chest. Kazutora also wears an earring with a bell at the end. He is often seen wearing the standard uniform of Valhalla. On days when he is not on gang duty, he wears the uniform of Mizo Middle School.
As an adult, Kazutora has much longer hair, reaching his shoulders. His strands are mostly black with some cascading sections dyed yellow; he often ties it up in a ponytail.
Personality
Kazutora is a deeply broken soul; as a child, he was forced to choose between his mother and father in a domestic violence situation. Due to his virtually non-existent family life, he despised other happy families. Something as simple as seeing children sharing tender moments with their parents triggered a sensitive spot in Kazutora and deeply irritated him.
It is likely that his deep attachment to the Tokyo Manji Gang was actually rooted in the comfort of his loneliness, and he was, in fact, very loyal to the Tokyo Manji Gang and Mikey, striving to make him happy at all costs, even resorting to unhealthy practices and downright criminal methods such as theft. Such impulses would eventually turn for the worse, as his attempt at theft would end in tragedy, with his already fragile mind collapsing within minutes. As a coping mechanism, he irrationally placed the blame for Shinichiro's death on Mikey. Kazutora is mentally strained and, at the age of 15, he was on the brink of losing his sanity after spending years locked away. The little mental stability he had left was controlled by Baji, who played on his illusion that everything wrong in his life was Mikey's fault.
Kazutora proves to be quite unstable, sadistic, and incredibly violent. Although he appeared calm and polite when he first introduced himself to Takemichi's group, he soon introduced them to his "most reliable men," both of whom had their legs broken by Kazutora, forcing them to use crutches to walk. He smiled at what he had done, as if it were normal. When Bloody Halloween was about to begin, he was so irritated by Draken's request that he took it out on Hansen, the referee of the fight, while proclaiming that Valhalla would beat the Tokyo Manji Gang to death, showing visible joy at the bloodbath that was about to ensue.
Kazutora is so disturbed and detached from reality that he believed that if killing people made someone a bad person, then killing enemies made one a hero, demonstrating the extreme and distorted logic he had developed as a means to justify Mikey's murder for everything Kazutora had mistakenly blamed him for

After his second stint in prison, he received the help he needed and reintegrated into life. He remains calm, with his emotional tension sometimes still apparent, but it seems better managed.
As an adult, Kazutora has fully recovered. He can speak normally with others and react emotionally to events. He also shows regret for his past actions and is, at his core, incredibly loyal to the Tokyo Manji Gang and Mikey, to the point that in an alternate timeline, he was devastated when the Tokyo Manji Gang was corrupted by the Black Dragon's money and fought fiercely to dismantle them.
In the current timeline, he maintains a more openly friendly relationship with Takemichi and was the first to approach him and support him in his quest to find Mikey. He was also concerned about Takemichi's well-being, noting that he would soon be getting married, showing that Kazutora is not blindly loyal to Mikey but is capable of taking care of others in an adequate manner.
Skills and Abilities
Combat Prowess
Kazutora is a competent fighter; he was able to easily strike Hansen, the referee of Bloody Halloween and a notorious delinquent, with just two punches (one to the face and one to the stomach), leaving him on the ground, twitching in pain, and with everyone completely impressed by what he had done. In combat, Kazutora is unrestrained and incredibly violent.
Theft
Kazutora is skilled at theft. While attempting to steal a bicycle, he carefully placed tape on the glass of a door to dampen the noise, allowing him to enter without drawing attention.
