Catarina Devon
Catarina Devon, "the Huntress of New Moon", was a prisoner of Impel Down from South Blue, confined at level 6 and sentenced to life. She was freed by Marshall D. Teach.
She is currently the commander of the sixth fleet of the Blackbeard Pirates.

Appearance
She is a woman much less attractive compared to most of the women in the One Piece universe. She is tall, with pale skin and a very elongated nose, reminiscent of Usopp. She has long black hair tied in two pigtails with yellow elastic bands, and she wears red lipstick.
She wears a striped black and white prisoner's top, trousers, a belt, and a cape in shades of purple, along with black shoes and a necklace of blue pearls.
Personality
She is widely known across the world because she hunts down any women she finds attractive, decapitating them and adding their heads to her collection.
When she first encounters the Marines, she calls them "croquignous," suggesting she has a sarcastic personality. She prefers wearing new clothes rather than an old prisoner's outfit, which shows she also has aesthetic concerns. It is said that she despises beautiful women and wouldn’t hesitate to cut them down just to display her sadistic side. She has declared her intention to acquire the head of Boa Hancock as a trophy.
Unique Laugh
Like most One Piece characters, Catarina Devon has her own distinctive laugh: "Murunffuffu."
Skills and Abilities
The extent of her power has not been fully revealed, but she is undoubtedly formidable, as she is known to be the most dangerous woman of the Golden Age of piracy. Additionally, she was imprisoned at level 6 in Impel Down, which speaks volumes about her threat level. Another proof of her strength is that when Blackbeard recruited the prisoners from level 6, he chose only the strongest, those capable of annihilating anyone in the same cell. Catarina Devon is, therefore, one of the most powerful criminals in Impel Down.
She has proven herself to possess superhuman endurance, having been struck by the shockwave from former Fleet Admiral Sengoku in his Buddha form, only to rise easily afterward.
Devil Fruit
Devon possesses the power of the Inu Inu no Mi, Model Kyubi, a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows her to transform into a legendary fox from Asian folklore. She can also transform into other people well enough to deceive anyone. She once transformed into Absalom to trick Gecko Moria, without him discovering the deception.
Weapons
She typically wields a whip, but she has been seen using a spear to attack Whitebeard alongside her crew. After the time skip, she is seen wielding a sword, though her combat level remains unknown.

Past
Catarina Devon was the most feared female pirate of the Golden Age of piracy, but she was eventually captured by the World Government and imprisoned for life in Impel Down, at level 6, to erase her existence from history.
War Saga of Whitebeard
Impel Down Arc
Catarina Devon was briefly mentioned by Emporio Ivankov as part of an explanation about the horrors of level 6 to Bentham. Later, under the orders of Marshall D. Teach, she fights to the death against her cellmates and emerges victorious. She is then freed and recruited into the Blackbeard Pirates.
Marineford Arc
During the Summit War, she reappears alongside the Blackbeard Pirates and other criminals recruited at the same time. She joins in witnessing the death of Whitebeard, taking part in the execution by impaling him with a spear. After Whitebeard’s death, as Blackbeard begins absorbing the power of the Gura Gura no Mi, Catarina grows excited. When her captain decides to sink Marineford, the crew is dispersed. As Sengoku attacks with a shockwave, she is seen flying away. She leaves the battlefield with her new crew when Shanks the Red appears to end the war.
Post-Marineford Arc
Catarina reappears once more with the rest of the Blackbeard crew, on a burning island. She declares that she wants new clothes when they arrive on the next island, as she grows tired of her prisoner's outfit. She escapes with the crew when Akainu arrives aboard a Marine ship.
During the Time Skip
During the two-year time skip, the Blackbeard Pirates used their captain’s knowledge to conquer former territories of Edward Newgate. Now that he has become one of the Four Emperors, his crew hunts powerful Devil Fruit users to absorb their abilities.
Yonko Saga
Zou Arc
During the Zou Arc, it’s revealed that the Blackbeard Pirates achieved a significant victory over the former Whitebeard Pirates in a war called the "War of Retribution." Thanks to this victory, Blackbeard officially became an Emperor!
Whole Cake Arc
In the journal Pedro reads, it’s revealed that Blackbeard and his crew completely destroyed Baltigo, the Revolutionary Army’s HQ. Once the Marines and Cipher Pol discovered the island’s location, they rushed to it. Blackbeard and his men clashed with Cipher Pol but eventually had to flee.
Wano Kuni Arc
Moria arrives on the Pirate Island searching for Absalom. He wreaks havoc until he spots Absalom on a balcony. Shiliew, who has retrieved Absalom’s Devil Fruit, appears behind Moria and slices through his zombies. The fake Absalom is revealed to be Catarina Devon, who declares that Absalom is dead and they have kept his body. Teach then intervenes, stating that this island is supposed to be a pirate’s paradise, commenting on recent events at Lev Ely and Luffy’s intrusion into Wano, while Devon listens patiently.

Egghead Arc
To acquire the Mero Mero no Mi, Blackbeard and several of his subordinates, including Devon, invade Amazon Lily, which is already the site of a battle between the Marines and the Kuja Pirates. Teach's underlings are defeated by one of the two Pacifistas present, who slices through the mountain in one blow. He then engages the Pacifista himself, using the power of the Yami Yami no Mi to absorb everything around him, while Hancock petrifies most of the people present, including Devon and Shot. The situation is resolved with the arrival of Silvers Rayleigh, who convinces everyone to stop the hostilities, freeing the petrified and allowing the invaders to escape, although the Emperor kidnaps Koby.
On Egghead Island, Catarina Devon and Van Augur come face to face with Elder Saturn. She is surprised to see him on the ground and outside Mary Geoise. She touches him to imprint his appearance in her memory. The Gorosei member is surprised to see her as part of a pirate crew. She claims that Teach is special. Both manage to evade Saturn’s attack thanks to Augur’s teleportation fruit. Caribou then approaches them to join.
As Catarina questions Caribou and Van Augur prepares to shoot him out of suspicion, Caribou offers to join them, promising to provide "very hard-to-obtain" information for Marshall D. Teach, which leaves them perplexed.
