Bonk Punch is a musician and an officer of the Red-Haired Pirates.

Appearance
Bonk Punch is a tall and sturdy man with a bald head, a scar running down the left side of his face to the middle of his chest, and dark circles that seem to be constantly present around his eyes. He wears a collared shirt with rolled-up sleeves, a backpack, and tends to have Monstar perched on his shoulders.
Upon his first appearance, he was considerably thinner and wore a different outfit a striped shirt and a cloth belt.
His scar has changed several times: first above his left eyebrow during the Romance Dawn Arc (in the manga), then extending across the entire left side of his face down to the middle of his chest during the Marineford Arc, before disappearing during the mini-adventure at the World Quays. In the adaptations of Chapter 1, Episodes 4, and the Episode of Luffy, he doesn’t have it, but in the East Blue Arc, it reappears on the left side of his face.

Like the other crew members, he enjoys partying and drinking. He is constantly seen smiling, even in serious situations. He is often seen with Monstar perched on his shoulders. He also has great confidence in his captain.
Relationships
Monster
Monster and Bonk Punch seem to have a close relationship, as the monkey often rides on him. Additionally, the two serve as the group’s musicians and always fight together.
Skills and Abilities
His skills are unknown, but as an officer in one of the Four Emperors' crews, he is undoubtedly powerful—especially considering how Commodore Brannew described all of Shanks’ subordinates as having high bounties on average.
As an officer, he holds significant authority within the crew and is certainly strong. He always fights alongside Monster, leaving weaker enemies to the monkey while he prepares to deliver his devastating punch.
The two are also the musicians of the crew.

In an illustration from One Piece Color Walk 1, he is shown holding a pistol, though it’s unclear how skilled he is with it.

After the time skip, Bonk Punch, with Monstar perched on him, along with other main members of the Red-Haired Pirates, are found in ruins on a certain island.
Wa Country Arc
As they sail outside Wano, Bonk Punch takes joy in the progress Luffy has made on his journey.
Egg Head Island Arc
While the crew is having lunch at a café on the coast of Erbaf, Rockstar informs Shanks that Kid is attacking, and it seems they will have to fight. The captain then declares that the supernova chose a bad time because they were about to leave. He apologizes to the rest of the crew but explains that it is normal to linger with old friends he thought were long dead. He then gives the order to set sail to fight at sea, aiming to avoid damaging the island, and asks Dorry and Brogy if they want to lend a hand. Both eagerly agree, along with Oimo and Karsee. Shanks then commands Rockstar to deliver a message to the enemy he can choose to leave his copies of the Road Poneglyph and flee, or risk his life by confronting them. As they leave the bar, the allies make way for them.
Just before they were about to leave, however, the group of pirates attacked their fleet. Though the commanders of the Red-Haired Pirates prepared themselves alongside Shanks and the giants, they ultimately did not have to intervene in the battle. Shanks single-handedly defeated Kid and Killer, and with the sinking of their ship, the fate of the Kid Pirates was also sealed.
