Unlike the Warlords, who are the government's war dogs, the Yonkos do not answer to any higher authority and establish their own rules in the New World.

Each of the Four Emperors commands immense respect and unquestionable authority in the New World, making this part of the Grand Line far more dangerous than the other half, known as Paradise. Not only do the Yonkos have legions of pirates and numerous ships at their disposal, but they are also among the most formidable fighters in the world. No pirate captain or admiral could stand up to one of them alone, and it often takes a coalition of the strongest fighters to even hope to scratch their surface. 7. Buggy the Clown’s Incredible Luck

Buggy the Clown made his debut in the East Blue saga, long before the One Piece story focused on the Four Emperors. Back then, Buggy was a threat to the Straw Hats with his powers from the Clown Fruit, but he was quickly surpassed as the story evolved. His combat power became negligible, but he possesses a bizarre "ability": incredible luck. Though this is the weakest known ability among the Emperors, it has nonetheless allowed Buggy to climb the ranks.
Alone, Buggy would have never been able to become a Warlord or an Emperor, but fortune paved an unexpected path for him. Through various adventures, Buggy managed to escape from Impel Down alongside Luffy and Sir Crocodile, and then build the image of an immensely powerful pirate. His incredible luck allowed him to join Luffy among the new Emperors, although it hasn’t been all happiness, as he currently serves as the punching bag for Mihawk and Crocodile in the Cross Guild.

The fearsome Big Mom, formerly known as Charlotte Linlin, first appeared in the Fish-Man Island arc before becoming Luffy's next great enemy in the Whole Cake Island arc. Big Mom, true to her name, was the mother of an immense pirate fleet, and she was far stronger than any of them—even her Sweet Commanders. In addition to her Armament Haki and the sword-hat Napoleon, Big Mom possessed the incredible ability to create Homies using the Soul-Soul Fruit.
The term invented by Big Mom refers to the animated soldiers she can create with her Soul-Soul Fruit, one of the most powerful Paramecia-type Devil Fruits in One Piece. With this power, Big Mom can transform anything, except for living beings or corpses, into an animated servant, imbued with characteristics and powers corresponding to its nature. She can even transform air itself into a Homie, showcasing the true extent of her power. Her Homies, Zeus and Hera in particular, are quite formidable.
5. Kaido’s Bolo Breath is a Fearsome Flaming Weapon

Kaido made his grand debut in the extensive and epic Wano saga as the world’s strongest living creature. It was widely accepted that Kaido could not be killed, whether in his human form or his azure dragon form. He didn’t just rely on his immense endurance to win battles; he also possessed remarkable speed and a variety of offensive weapons, starting with his spiked iron club.
Kaido’s club is a fearsome weapon in his human form, but under his dragon form, he can do much more. His greatest ability is the Bolo Breath, a devastating fire breath. This makes Kaido a true mythic dragon, capable of surpassing even Luffy’s Gear 4 power in combat. His fangs and claws alone are enough to defeat any pirate, but if an enemy attempts to flee or fight from a distance, the Bolo Breath is his ultimate weapon.
4. The Darkness Fruit’s Power to Nullify Devil Fruit Abilities Offers a Surprising Edge

Marshall D. Teach, also known as Captain Blackbeard, revealed the full extent of his Darkness Fruit powers during his battle against Portgas D. Ace on Banaro Island before the time skip in One Piece. Ace felt confident with the powers of his Flame-Flame Fruit, but he couldn’t easily counter Blackbeard’s ability to absorb objects into the darkness and then expel them. Worse still, Blackbeard could nullify the powers of Ace’s Devil Fruit.
Blackbeard’s ability to nullify the powers of another Devil Fruit user ranks among the middle tier of Emperor abilities because it requires physical contact with a hand. However, in a series like this, it is a near-universal ability. No matter how powerful an enemy’s Devil Fruit is, it becomes useless against Blackbeard, who can then easily capture or kill his opponent. This is how Blackbeard was able to capture Ace, despite his fiery body.

His firepower might slightly pale in comparison to Whitebeard’s, but he has the advantage of being younger and in better physical condition.

At one point, Edward Newgate reigned as the world’s strongest man and was the captain of the formidable Whitebeard Pirates fleet. Whitebeard’s endurance was legendary, as was his physical strength, making him a fearsome opponent for anyone at sea. He also had the added power of his Tremor-Tremor Fruit, a great strength he only used when forced.
If Captain Whitebeard encountered a truly worthy enemy, like another Emperor such as Shanks, he would unleash his best technique: infusing his weapon with Haki and attacking with brute force. This maneuver could devastate an enemy with extreme power and precision, making it a better option in one-on-one combat than his Devil Fruit. With a single strike, Whitebeard could split the sky itself alongside Shanks, a testament to the titanic power of both men.
1. Luffy’s Gear 5 Is the Cartoonish Power That Will Free the Whole World

The most powerful Emperor ability ever seen so far, and likely the most powerful that will ever exist, is Monkey D. Luffy’s transformation into Gear 5. Unlocking this power and becoming the embodiment of Nika, the sun god, completely changed the course of the battle between Luffy and Emperor Kaido on Onigashima. Before this moment, Luffy was losing the fight with Gear 4.

Luffy didn’t just gain power by reaching Gear 5 he completely shattered the combat system of One Piece with cartoonish physiques, which adds to the fun.
